About Me
I'm own an urban farm business, and am a journalist and author with over 17 years experience planting, growing and offering advice to home gardeners in the Pacific Northwest.
I have been growing food in people’s Seattle-ish backyards and my apartment balcony since 2004. I have a deep love and appreciation for plants and all they provide us. I have nurtured food gardens (and some landscapes) from the north to the south and I have a good feeling for the season and an excellent understanding about how to grow food. You can read more about me and my services and background here.
