Lovely timing, as usual! I don't usually save seeds but was thinking of doing so with flowers this year. (well not entirely true, I save nasturtium seeds each year because they are so obvious, also they save themselves all over the place, I rarely have to plant them! )

Do I need to let the blossom die on the plant before I harvest in order for the seeds to form? Or do I harvest when it's still in bloom? (I've been harvesting some blossoms for other purposes this year - and those I do fully in bloom, so I'm just curious about the differences)

For seed saving, harvest as the bloom drops all its petals and is dying. You don’t have to wait until they’re brown on the stem, but you DO have to wait until the seeds are fully mature. It is SUPER fun to break open an immature seed head & identify seeds in their immature state. As you start looking more closely you will clearly see when there is a seed and when there is not. As an aside, many flowering plants have very very small seeds… Chamomile & some others I can’t think of right this second… and those are more difficult to identify so you may just save the entire flower head & break it up before planting
